Requirements to Use Someone Else’s VEP-Registered Car

• The car has an active, valid VEP
• The RFID tag is installed and functioning
• You are legally allowed to drive the car (have insurance coverage & owner’s permission)
• The road tax and insurance are valid
• You have a valid Singapore driving license

If any of these are missing, you could be stopped at the border or fined.
